I'm in my late 20's but only started applying eye cream daily around 2 years ago. I've never understood the reasoning behind and as I hadn't any fine lines or crows feet around my eyes I thought whats the point? It's only once I started to apply concealer under my eyes around 2 yrs ago (yes I'm a late comer once again!) that i noticed my under eyes were really dry. I've tried (admittedly) cheap creams from drugstores which hadn't much affect to almond/argan/avocado oil, which did help but I worried they were too heavy for my skin and essentially 'dragging' the delicate under eye area.
This year I have noticed a few lines under my eyes, which I think is from dragging and rubbing my eyes on a daily basis (I have a bad habit of doing this!) so have been on the hunt for something that will essentially prevent more lines and help with the dryness.
I decided to try this serum which came as part of a set. I didn't have any high expectations of this but it's amazing! I actually look forward to using this, and let me tell you I am lazy when it comes to skincare.
Super-active padina pavonica and blue flower linseed helps smooth and firm, targeting fine lines and wrinkles, for a more youthful appearance. A super-light formula that packs heavy-weight results!
A sophisticated amino acid complex of natural humectants which attracts moisture into the deeper layers of the skin. Combines exceptional moisturisation with added protection to support the fragile skin around the eyes, without overloading them.
To apply I squeeze a tiny amount under each eye and lightly pat in. It is instantly absorbed and leaves the area slightly plumped and my concealer no longer appears cakey. As you only need an itsy-bitsy amount I can see this lasting at least 4 months.
Conclusion
This product is recommended for mature skins and to be honest I wouldn't have bothered if it didn't come part of a set. However I'm glad that I tried it!
If you are in your teens I wouldn't necessarily recommend trying this, unless you have very dry skin under your eyes.
This will set you back £39- yup super pricey! So although I love it, don't think I could afford to purchase once I run out-boo :(
Do you have a favourite eye cream that you can't live without? Leave a comment below I would love to hear your recommendations :)
