I was happy to receive a voucher in my Boots newletter for the 17 Wild Curls mascara at a price of only £1. It is normally priced at £6.29 so for a huge discount like that of course I was going to try it! I chose the normal formula instead of waterproof.
The mascara claims to curl your lashes by 6x and keep the curl for upto 10 hours. My lashes are poker straight and in need of major curling so this appealed to me.
The brush has thin bristles which helps to coat each lash. As you can see from the photos the mascara has provided curl and a little thickness. I found that I needed to re-apply to create some more thickness to my lashes. I can't say whether it lasts for 10 hours as I haven't worn it for that long, but it did last upto 6 hours. I also like that it didn't clump my lashes and they look natural. It was easy to remove with my normal makeup remover and didn't take much effort.
Conclusion
This mascara is designed to curl lashes, especially if they are straight. It doesn't really help with thickness and as I prefer my mascara to multi-task I think I will stick to my maybelline volume colossal. However if you're looking for a daytime mascara, give this a try.
