Last night I attended a comedy charity which was a barrel of laughs (pardon the pun) The evening was also to highlight the continuing disaster in Syria with Islamic Relief fundraising. Mashallah over £20,000 was raised, which will go towards helping families in Syria.
I decided to keep my outfit casual and comfortable with a few key accessories. The outfit is plain but I have 'spiced' it up by adding some pattern from the hijab and bag.
The butterfly patterned hijab is ideal for Summer, and as a maxi it provides plenty of coverage (so I can create tons of folds without fear of exposure). The necklace reminds me of a bicycle chain so adds a little edge to my overall look.

Sorry I didnt take any photos of the food, it was so delicious I couldnt wait to tuck in! There was samosa chaat, kebabs, chicken tikaa and that was just for starters! By the way is it just me or are starters the favourite part of a meal?
There was also a new drink called 'Pear Drops, which reminded me of my youth spent eating red and green pear drops. The taste is mild and not overly fizzy. If you're after a light cardonated drink then you may just like this. I would give it a rating of 5/10. If you've tried it, leave feedback for them on their facebook page.
