The Hijab Islamic: Outfit of the Day: Park and Wagamama for afters!

There's nothing better to do on a hot, sunny day then to laze around in the park. Today's weather was ideal-warm with a light breeze. We headed for central London to visit its many parks, with St James being one of my favourites!

London is literally full of photo opportunities, so I couldn't pass up this view along the embankment. The poster was erected on a building for the Queen's Jubilee. It depicts the royal family from the last Jubilee (correct me if I'm wrong!)

Watch out for the squirrels.... they are cheeky and will grab your food!

I decided to wear light and casual clothing, as I'm a big fan of keeping things simple. The boyfriend cut jeans are a latest purchase and I'm wondering how I lived without! They are the PERFECT length and fit for me. I initially thought I had bought from the petite section but I believe the one I'm wearing are in a size regular. The great thing about Next is that they have different lengths which is great if you are petite or indeed tall. The cut of the jeans are flattering as is the colour. For these reasons I will keep purchasing my jeans from them in the future!

The t-shirt from TK-Maxx adds a little humour to reflect my personality. I've added a plain white shirt to give a crisp, preppy look.

I've decided on a plain hijab just to let the t-shirt do all the talking, so I'm wearing the midnight blue hijab from Princess Rockz. There isn't a tutorial for this style, however it was really simple. I just made one side longer than the other and let it drape down at the end.
