I've lost track of the number of times I've picked up a pretty skirt whilst shopping, only to put it right back because it's see-through! If you look around the high street there is a trend for this 'sheer' style, but if you are a hijabi this look is a complete no no.

So what can hijabis wear instead? Well there are still plenty of modest clothing out there, you just need to know where to look! Personally whenever I find a long dress or skirt that is my length (I'm quite short) and isn't see-through, well I snap it up! Plain coloured maxi skirts are timeless and will never go out of fashion.
