Bourjois Pop Up Boutique

On Monday I met up with a few beauty bloggers (Abeer, Safiyah, Numera, Sharmin, Saman and Asmaa ) to attend a pop up Bourjois shop, which has been running since Friday.

I have to admit I don't own many Bourjois products but I remember my first blusher (many moons ago) was the little round pot blush in shade Rose d' or. Anyway I was quite excited to have a look at their range and grab a bargain!

The boutique opened at 12pm and the first 50 people were to receive a goody bag, so I made sure I was there by 12pm on the dot! You can see the contents of the goody bag further down below.

So what was the boutique like? Well as we went during the day the room was lit with natural light and a few pink lights. It was fairly small and I did have to push past a few people to move around, but overall I think they did a great job with the decor and ambiance.

Yummy!

The room was filled with makeup from blushers to eyeliners and mascaras and looked like a candy store. There was a makeup artist providing free advice and consultation; a place to get your nails done and also hair styling

I decided to purchase a few things as they had an offer of any four products for £14-pretty impressive! I was particularly interested in the Délice de Poudre (bronzing powder to you and me) and wanted to pick a mascara. Sharmin from PinksweetSz recommended the volume clubbing ultra black mascara, so I thought I would give it a try.

T4 were there recording and the lovely Jameela Jamil was present!! I'm gutted that I didn't get a photo with her but I did take a few sneaky shots from the side!

After the event we headed down to Nandos to compare our purchases and for some peri peri chicken!

So what was in my goody bag I hear you say??

There was a cleanser for dry/sensitive skin (doesn't really apply to me), a light up mirror which will definitely come in handy; a disco ball which contains a lip gloss inside; a mini lip gloss on a key chain, a black glittery eyeshadow pot (not pictured) and a £2 off voucher.

What did I purchase??

I've been looking for a yellow nail polish so thought I would try the Jaune Trendy 39. It's a lovely bumble bee colour which will look fabulous on summer nails. The Volume Clubbing Ultra Black mascara, which I have yet to try. Although I have two other bronzing powders I couldn't give this a miss- Délice de Poudre  and last but not least the the Healthy mix serum in 53.

I have to say after making my purchase I wanted to go back for more as there were so many different products I wanted to try, so the £2 voucher should come in handy.

Overall I enjoyed the event and of course meeting up with the girls (any excuse hey!) The Bourjois team were really friendly and helpful, so I'll be keeping a look out for similar events in the future :)
